Our visitor policy ensures the best and safest experience for our patients, visitors and staff. This policy may change at any time. Any requests to deviate from the visiting guidelines are considered exceptions and must go through the care team for approval.
Visitor Policies and Guidelines
All Inspira Health locations have general inpatient visiting hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Below are the guidelines for visiting our inpatient facilities. Some areas may have specific guidelines to meet patient needs, which can be found below under Department-Specific Policies.
- Each patient is allowed two visitors at a time.
- All visitors must be 12 years of age or older, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- All visitors must follow any and all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Visitors who don’t adhere to the guidelines shared by Inspira staff will be asked to leave the facility and are not permitted to return unless they’re in need of medical treatment.
Inspira Health reserves the right to restrict or limit visitation based on disruptive, threatening or violent behavior; the existence of a court-ordered restricting contract; interference with the care of other patients; or a need for patient rest or privacy.
As of January 15, Inspira Health has implemented a new visitor management system at Inspira Medical Centers Vineland, Mullica Hill, Elmer, and Mannington and Inspira Health Centers Bridgeton and Woodbury to enhance security and safety. This proactive system monitors entries, tracks visitor locations, and supports emergency response, ensuring a safer environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Please be aware that photo ID is now required for visitors, and temporary delays may occur during this period. Your cooperation is appreciated.
It is against New Jersey State Law to enter our facilities with a firearm per N.J.S.A. 2c:58-6a(21).
