Read MoreIt is estimated that 1 out of 5 children living in the U.S. experience a behavioral, mental or emotional health disorder. However, with appropriate identification, evaluation and treatment, children living with these disorders can lead productive lives.
Inspira offers a wide range of programs for children and adolescents across South Jersey. Our team provides the highest quality care to patients and their families through individualized treatment plans.
Inspira’s Behavioral Wellness Centers offer comprehensive therapeutic services, referrals and on-site psychiatric services (excluding legal forensic assessments).
Beyond traditional outpatient counseling on a weekly, biweekly or monthly schedule, our treatment centers provide quality outpatient care in a variety of environments including therapeutic nursery, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient therapy programs.
Our Therapeutic Nursery Program (ages 3 to 5) helps children who struggle with behavioral disorders early on. We collaborate with all key stakeholders in the child’s life to establish individualized treatment goals in order to help them live a stable and healthy life.

Our Children’s Partial Hospitalization Program is designed to help children who are in need of more intensive treatment than traditional outpatient therapy provides. Built within a classroom setting, the program provides each child with individual, group and family counseling, as well as psychiatric assessment for a range of behavioral health issues.
In many cases, partial hospitalization can prevent the need for inpatient treatment, as our services are similar to the intensity and scope of inpatient treatment, but with significantly less disruption to the lives of children and their families. The program follows an acute short-term model of intensive treatment targeted for 4 to 8 weeks.
