Read MoreAt Inspira, we are focused on healing the whole person. Among our comprehensive range of services, we offer short and long-term inpatient behavioral health care at our locations in Bridgeton, Mannington, and Woodbury.
Inpatient behavioral health care involves a high level of support in a safe and secure hospital setting. If you or a loved one have exhibited thoughts or behaviors that may be harmful to themselves or others and have not found success in an outpatient setting or other therapeutic setting, inpatient care may be the most appropriate treatment option. Inspira offers comprehensive therapeutic services, referrals, and on-site psychiatric services (excluding legal forensic assessments). Our voluntary and involuntary inpatient treatment centers provide quality, trauma-informed care in environments that respect each patient’s dignity, independence and unique personal needs.
If you or a loved one are seeking care at a voluntary inpatient program, you will meet with a behavioral health resource coach to determine the best treatment strategy for you. Once admitted, your care team will help you set a treatment plan, goals for your stay, and a plan for your discharge.
In an involuntary inpatient program, which is typically court-ordered, you will be evaluated by members of the care team and have regular meetings with them to update your plan of care. You will be scheduled for a court date. Your treatment will continue, and discharge will be planned depending on progress in the program and court outcomes.
Upon admission, the treatment team, including medical doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers and art therapists, will meet with you. During an inpatient stay, treatment will include community meetings, goal setting, education, art therapy, discharge planning, wellness and recovery discussions, and social activities.
