Aug 5, 2024

Inspira Health EMS was recently recognized with the American Heart Association (AHA) 2024 Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold award. This program, launched in 2014, is designed to showcase EMS teams for their excellence in heart attack and stroke care and for collaborating with hospitals to provide patient care.

EMS personnel are often the first line of care for people with health emergencies—they can begin treatment, including resuscitation, when they arrive. Their work often sets the course for each patient’s outcome because they can eliminate any delay in care that occurs when a family member or friend drives a patient to the emergency room. Initiating treatment quickly improves a patient’s chance of survival and reduces the risk of long-term disability.

This is the second year in a row that the EMS team has been recognized with the Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold award. Congratulations to the EMS and Ground Transport team. Thank you for your tireless dedication to clinical excellence and evidence-based, lifesaving care.
