Mullica Hill, NJ (December 13, 2024) – Inspira Health is proud to announce that Robin Walton, Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Chief Philanthropy Officer, has been elected Chair of the Executive Committee of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ). This appointment reflects Walton’s outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to making meaningful impact across the South Jersey region.
Leaders of the Executive Committee are selected by the Chamber’s Nominating Committee. Walton’s election marks a significant milestone in the Chamber’s 151-year history, as she is the fourth woman and first African American to hold this prominent position.
"Robin's phenomenal leadership and commitment to our region continue to advance Inspira’s mission of improving access to health care and enhancing the well-being of communities across South Jersey," said Amy Mansue, President and CEO of Inspira Health. "Her new role as Chair of the CCSNJ Executive Committee is a testament to her tremendous skill and vision, and I speak for our entire organization when I say we are so proud of her and look forward to everything she will accomplish as she leads this prestigious body.”
In both her external affairs and chief philanthropy officer roles, Walton has been instrumental in Inspira’s community outreach. In addition to her continuous efforts to foster partnerships with key stakeholders, Walton has also enhanced health care accessibility and equity in the area; from championing anti-violence initiatives to paving the way for behavioral health expansions.
“Robin has been an active member of the CCSNJ for more than 14 years, serving in various leadership roles to help guide our organization and its work on behalf of the regional community. Not only will Robin be the fourth female chair in the organization’s history, she will be its first African American chair,” said Christina Renna, president & CEO of CCSNJ. “We are excited to work with her in this new capacity and continue to move the Chamber forward together.”
The CCSNJ, established in 1873, stands as the region's largest and most active business organization, representing Southern New Jersey, Greater Philadelphia, and Northern Delaware.
