Inspira Medical Centers Vineland and Woodbury were both featured by the AHA/ASA in the recent U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospital publication.
“We are pleased to be recognized by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association with these awards for quality care,” said Paul Lambrecht, vice president of Quality and Patient Safety at Inspira Health Network. “Our physicians and staff are dedicated to providing patients across the region with quality stroke and cardiac care right here in their communities.”
Inspira Medical Center Vineland received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award for quality care in the treatment of stroke patients. The Cumberland County-based hospital earned the award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the rapid diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients at a set level for a designated period. These measures include aggressive use of medications and risk-reduction therapies aimed at reducing death and disability and improving the lives of stroke patients.
Inspira Medical Center Woodbury received the Get With The Guidelines®–Resuscitation Gold Award for quality care in the treatment of patients who suffer cardiac arrests while in the hospital. The AHA’s Resuscitation program was developed with the goal to save lives of those who experience in-hospital cardiac arrests through consistently following the most up-to-date research-based guidelines for treatment. Inspira Medical Center Woodbury, based in Gloucester County, has demonstrated adherence to protocols for patient safety, medical emergency team response, effective and timely resuscitation (CPR) and post-resuscitation care.
