Paid Time Off (PTO)
Employees accrue time off each pay period based on job title and length of service. PTO may be used for vacation, illness, holidays or personal time.
Wellness Programs and Resources
Inspira supports our employees who wish to lead healthier lifestyles. We offer smoking cessation, weight management programs, nutrition counseling and healthy food options in campus cafeterias, quarterly health seminars, and discounts to Inspira Fitness Connection locations in Vineland and Bridgeton. In addition, we encourage employees to stay active by using the walking paths throughout our campuses, joining one of our intramural golf or bowling leagues, and using the volleyball and pickleball courts in Vineland for pickup games.
Support for Military Leave
Inspira will supplement the difference between regular pay and what is received while on military leave for up to 12 months per assignment.
Career Development
Tuition Assistance: Eligible employees can receive tuition reimbursements of up to $5,00/ year for degree programs and continuing education credits.
Professional Assistance: Employees are encouraged to attend free professional and personal development classes through Inspira University. We also offer pre-payment for some certifications and other continuing education opportunities.
Premier Partnership with Rawan College of South Jersey (RCSJ): With our partnership with RCSJ, Inspira employees receive a 50% discount on tuition and fees for credit and non-credit courses. DAISY and PETAL Awards
Each year, the DAISY Award® recognizes nurses who provide above-and-beyond compassionate care to patients and families. The PETAL Award honors the performance, dedication and diligence of Inspira’s nursing support partners, including nursing assistants, patient support technicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers and unit clerks.
Benefits
Our health benefits include medical and dental insurance, vision care reimbursement, prescription benefits and a flexible spending program. We also offer a retirement plan with company match, a group life insurance policy and other voluntary benefits.
Dental Insurance: Managed through Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental of New Jersey, this plan offers three coverage options—including one with higher coverage for dental needs. Most preventive services, including cleanings and annual X-rays, are covered at 100 percent.
Medical Insurance: Inspira offers two options, both of which are administered by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield: the Horizon Omnia Plan, which does not require you to select a primary care physician or get referrals, and the Horizon High Deductible Health Plan with Health Savings Account, which allows you to use pre-tax dollars to pay for your health care needs. Horizon Omnia Plan members can also access care for reduced or zero copays at Inspira‘s Inner Circle providers and facilities.
Group Life Insurance: Inspira offers all benefit-eligible employees life insurance coverage and accidental death and dismemberment coverage of up to twice their base annual salary at no cost to the employee.
Prescription Plan: Administered through CVS Caremark, this benefit allows you to purchase necessary prescription drugs, after a small co-payment, through mail order or at a retail CVS location.
Vision Care: Voluntary vision coverage is offered through UnitedHealthcare’s provider network. You will receive affordable, quality vision care, including an annual eye examination, as well as glasses or contacts (if needed).
Other: We offer a variety of voluntary benefits, including short-term disability, hospital indemnity, critical care coverage, group legal and cancer coverage.
Flexible Spending Program: This plan enables you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for health premiums and unreimbursed medical, dental and dependent care expenses.
Retirement Plan: Inspira offers a voluntary 403(b) retirement savings plan with a matching contribution for eligible employees.
