MAJOR FUNCTION:

Under the supervision of the Center Manager, the Lead Dietary Aide will oversee the daily food production and meal service in the INSPIRA LIFE Day center. The Lead Dietary Aide will supervise and provide direction to the Dietary Aides for the cleanliness of the kitchen and service equipment. Collaborating with the Center Manager, the Lead Dietary Aide will provide direction and supervision to the dietary aides to ensure the provision of quality meal service and kitchen cleanliness.

As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent Required.
  • Two years of experience in an institutional health care food setting.
  • Previous supervisory experience of dietary personnel preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Serve Safe certification required.
  • Successful completion of the local DOH Food Safety Program.
  • Certifications are required or must be attained within six months after date of hire.
