MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Director of Performance Improvement and Patient Safety plays an essential role in the advancement of Patient Safety and Performance Improvement at Inspira Health. In conjunction with system wide departments and leadership, this position efficiently and effectively improves outcomes as a change leader using a structured and data informed approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare associated field (Nursing or other related clinical discipline)
  • Master’s degree in healthcare associated field, Safety Science or other related field.
  • 5+ Years Clinical Healthcare Experience
  • 3+ Years experience in Healthcare Quality, Patient Safety, Performance Improvement, Safety Science, Data Management, Equity
  • 3+ Years Progressive Leadership experience

Certification/ Licensure:

  • Registered Nurse or other licensed healthcare position required.
  • CPHQ Certified Professional Healthcare Quality preferred.
  • CPPS Certified Professional Patient Safety preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt preferred.
