Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, under the direction of the Inspira Health Network Board of Trustees for internal and external customers. (i.e., resolution of complaints and issues of staff, patients and family members with external regulatory agencies)
MAJOR FUNCTION:Reports to the Inspira Health Network Board of Trustees through the Inspira Health Network Corporate Compliance Committee for compliance issues. Under the direction of General Counsel, responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Corporate Compliance Program for Inspira Health Network. Reports to General Counsel for all operational and administrative matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education:Graduate degree required (JD, MBA, MHA), multiple educational backgrounds are appropriate, such as: health, legal, clinical, etc.
B. Experience:Ten (10) years of healthcare compliance experience. Prior experience as Chief Compliance Officer of an acute care hospital system preferred; and experience in Corporate Compliance Program Administration required. Strong management, analytical, conflict resolution and group facilitation skills required.
. Certification/Licensure: Certification in Healthcare Compliance required
