MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Clinical Coordinator will play a vital role in the daily operations of the urgent care and occupational health unit. This position combines clinical responsibilities with administrative tasks, ensuring that patient care is efficient, organized, and delivered in a professional manner. The Clinical Coordinator will work closely with healthcare providers, staff and patients to facilitate high-quality care and support a positive patient experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- High school graduate with graduating LPN program required.
- Clinical Experience: Minium of 2 years of previous urgent care, occupational health experience or related field.
Certification/ Licensure:
- Completion of an accredited LPN program with licensure required.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must have critical thinking skills and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and/or behavioral health topics specifically in obstetrics.
- Strong decision making and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work respectfully and professionally with the community, patients, families, and staff.
- Sympathetic, mature, responsible, and reliable.
- Strong patient engagement, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to establish a therapeutic relationship with the patient.
