**This position will float between locations.

Assists in daily operation of Storeroom/Materials Management. Provides service to all hospital/network areas that requires attention to detail, specialized product and equipment knowledge, additional clinical understanding, and increased interaction with ERP system. Includes daily interaction with Purchasing related to requisitions and order confirmation, setting up new inventory products, root cause analysis on item discrepancies, issues credit on returns, backorder confirmation and analysis, assists with cycle counts completion and analysis, etc. Serve as a backup for other Storeroom coverage as needed. The role requires collaboration and interaction with all Storeroom Staff, Receiving, Purchasing, Nursing Units and hospital staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required. Associates or bachelor's degree preferred. Prior experience in healthcare supply chain preferred. Knowledge inventory software, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint required. Valid driver's license and adherence to Inspira's Fleet policy.

Includes daily interaction with Purchasing related to requisitions and order confirmation, setting up new inventory products, root cause analysis on item discrepancies, issues credit on returns, backorder confirmation and analysis, assists with cycle counts completion and analysis, etc.

Position Responsibilities

Ensure daily storeroom and PAR Replenishment Orders are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.

Review daily backorder report and collaborate with team members to develop contingency plans as needed.

Assist in conducting root cause analysis for items that have variance during weekly cycle counts.

Assist staff in process development of requisitions, picking and floor stock replenishment.

Evaluate par levels and make recommendations for adjustments to maximize inventory efficiency.

Assist Purchasing in establishing new products, standardization.

Scanning of packing slips from shipments and working with AP on the 3-way match.

Record and maintain the inventory of all storeroom items.

Maintains inventory database, discrepancies, updating records to record supplies and materials received and dispensed.

Utilization of handheld devices and knowledge of storeroom equipment.

Conducts physical inventories on a routine schedule for storeroom and clinical units.

Manage all receiving functions and maintenance of the loading dock.

Manage USPS, FedEx, UPS, office supply, and all desktop deliveries.

Manage outgoing shipments for clinical units including biomed, tissue, specimens, or standard medical supplies.

Manage mail room and all mail functions.

Manage the gas and tank room including all deliveries and receiving.

Manage supply chain assigned durable medical equipment.

Bed rental management and tracking of rentals, invoicing, and receiving.

Distributes storeroom materials in accordance with requisition forms.

Manage cleanliness of assigned units, storeroom, and equipment rooms.

Orders materials needed to restock storeroom and maintain inventory levels.

Work directly with nursing leadership to manage clinical inventory and any unit changes.
