MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Director of Radiation Oncology Practice Operations reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of the Oncology Service Line. The Network Director of Radiation Oncology serves as the leader of clinical operations for multiple Radiation Oncology locations, including but not limited to: The Leading-Edge Cancer Center in Mullica Hill and the Frank and Edith Scarpa Cancer Pavilion in Vineland. This role is responsible for leading all Radiation Oncology operations in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Inspira Health. The incumbent is accountable for the effective and efficient operation of areas of oversight which include operational, strategic, financial, and human resources duties. The Director Radiation Oncology partners with other clinical leaders to improve processes, quality, safety, patient experience, productivity, and efficiency of practice.This position serves as the strategic, programmatic, and operational leader for Radiation Oncology. The Director of Radiation Oncology will foster an environment of professional growth, involvement, excellence, inclusiveness and promote an atmosphere of team work and collaboration. Represents the department to Divisional Hospital Administration, departmental employees, and, when necessary, to the community.
Education & Experience:
•Graduated from an AMA approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
•Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
•Five (5) years relevant experience in the management of a Radiation Oncology department required.
•Preferred: Has held administrative position in a large academic or complex health program that included Radiation Oncology services.
•Needs highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with a wide range of professionals and community representatives.
