MAJOR FUNCTION:

As a senior integration architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining interface solutions that enable seamless data exchange between various healthcare systems and applications. This position will require knowledge of frameworks and standards including HL7 v2, HL7 v3, FHIR, EDI, XML, X12, TCPIP and FTP protocols. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, analysts, developers, and testers to understand the business requirements, data models, workflows, and standards of the healthcare domain. You will also provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the interface development team and ensure the quality and performance of the interface solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in interface development and data integration for healthcare systems and applications.
  • Expert knowledge of HL7 standards and protocols, such as FHIR, CDA, CCD, and EDI.
  • Proficient in interface development tools and languages, such as Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SQL, and XSLT.
  • Experience with interface engine, specifically Oracle OPEN Link.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data models, workflows, and terminologies, such as SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, and CPT.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Certification in HL7 or interface development is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in managing IS related projects required.
  • Strong expertise in multiple healthcare applications.
