Position: Medical Director: Inspira LIFE (LIVING Independently for Elders, A PACE Program is seeking a Medical Director for its Vineland and Williamstown Centers.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide general medical direction and supervision of the medical aspects of care for the LIFE Program from both provider and payor perspectives.
• Oversee the delivery of participant care and clinical outcomes.
• Implement and oversee the quality assessment and performance improvement program.
• Assure effective utilization management.
• Develop and maintain medical policies, procedures, standards, and protocols.
• Supervise the Director of Quality and Patient Safety and the quality department.
• Provide direction and supervision to the Inspira LIFE primary care team.
• Identify appropriate providers for the contracted provider network and collaborate with the Executive Director, Director of Finance, and others to facilitate and maintain contractual relationships.
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor for medical residents and other healthcare team interns and students.
• Serve as a member of the Inspira LIFE Executive Leadership Team.
• Provide supportive direct patient care as a member of the primary care team.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctorate Degree (MD or DO).
• Minimum of 2 years working with the frail or elderly.
• At least 1 year in a leadership position.
• Experience with a capitated care model and/or utilization management is highly preferred.

As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.
