Supervisor - CT Scan - Vineland- 25K sign on Bonus

MAJOR FUNCTION:Manages the daily operations of the CT department and other Medical Imaging areas if necessary. Supervises, instructs, evaluates, and coaches/counsels’ employees. Maintains records and procedures for maintenance, in-service, education, radiation exposure reporting, and supplies for area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Graduate from an approved, accredited School of Radiology.
• 5 years' experience as a CT Technologist.
• 3years of supervisory experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• ARRT required, current licensure by the state of New Jersey.
• Advanced certification in CT required.
• AHA CPR certified.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows hospital policies and procedures regarding abuse and neglect.
• Must have vast knowledge of all areas of Computed Tomography and have the ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing and walking.
• Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients.
• Lifts supplies and equipment.
• Subject to potential electrical and radiation hazards.
