Position Summary Inspira Health is seeking an experienced IT Manager of Networking to oversee the robust infrastructure supporting our 4-hospital system. The ideal candidate will possess advanced engineering and architectural skills, ensuring the development and maintenance of secure and high-performing networks. Responsible for leading a diverse team of engineers, the role encompasses strategic network design, LAN/WAN connectivity, security implementation, and technology research. With a focus on stability, reliability, and performance optimization, the Network Manager will provide proactive management, troubleshooting expertise, and ensure comprehensive documentation to support mission-critical services Position Responsibilities - Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure networks across Inspira Health. - Provide engineer level architectural and design input to set strategic direction for the development of data networks and supporting infrastructure environment. - Make recommendations to the Director of Infrastructure for enhancing network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. - Proactively manage LAN, WAN, WiFi, and mobile networks in all office and Pont of Service locations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and contingency. - Oversee the management and enhancement of Alcatel Lucent, CISCO, Palo Alto Firewalls, core infrastructure, Aruba Wireless Infrastructure, access points, Fortinet SDwan, and routing technologies. - Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and/or software applications within LANs, WANs, telephones, and security systems, ensuring timely resolution and service restoration. - Develop, deploy, maintain, and manage Data Network Infrastructure, including capacity management, NOC operational monitoring, and off-hours support.

  • Bachelor's Degree and Cisco Certified Network Professional - Required
  • 5 plus years' experience in:

Position Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure networks across Inspira Health.

- Provide engineer level architectural and design input to set strategic direction for the development of data networks and supporting infrastructure environment. - Make recommendations to the Director of Infrastructure for enhancing network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Proactively manage LAN, WAN, WiFi, and mobile networks in all office and Pont of Service locations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and contingency

- Extensive Network Engineering and Architectural Background:

The candidate should have a proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, and security infrastructure, ideally within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.

- Leadership and Team Management: Experience in managing diverse teams of engineers, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of network projects and operations.

- Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in network security analysis, design, and implementation, including familiarity with industry-leading firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, and best practices for securing healthcare data and systems.

- Vendor and Technology Management: Experience in managing relationships with network technology vendors, evaluating new technologies, and making strategic recommendations for network enhancements based on business needs and industry trends.

- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve network hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to mission-critical services and operations

Position Qualifications

- Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of network engineers, with a track record of success in driving projects to completion and achieving organizational goals.

- Proven Track Record: Demonstrate experience in managing the implementation of large-scale network infrastructure based projects.

- Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for interacting with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors, as well as for documenting network designs, procedures, and standards.
