Intern, HR Services - Human Resources - Garden

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Participation in various projects and/or initiatives in the HR Services area(s). This could include support roles in Benefit Programs, Compensation, HRIS, and/or our HR Service Center. Exposure to Oracle HR platform via data input and/or analysis. Frequent interaction with departmental personnel, both internal to HR and throughout the network would be likely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Enrolled in a 4 year program preferably in Human Resources and preferably in their Junior or Senior Year.
• Proficiency in Excel required (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, etc.) is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to organize, analyze and present data.
• Ability to be resourceful and work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
• Handle confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion.
