Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool - ICU - Full Time - Varied - Vineland

Position Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) provides staffing support throughout the medical center to adequately meet the volume and acuity of patients. Float Pool RN's perform direct patient care in a variety of patient care areas such as medical surgical, stepdown, and ICU level of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

•Applicant must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.

•BSN or MSN graduates preferred.

•Minimum of 3 years post education clinical experience and competencies for desired role in medical surgical acute / stepdown.

Certifications/ Licensure:

•Current New Jersey license

•Current American Heart Association – BLS Health Care Provider

•Current ACLS

Position Responsibilities

•Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process.

•Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation.

•Comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies.
