Growth and Quality Care at Inspira
Hello and welcome to the March edition of Provider Inspiration.
We have so much to celebrate this month. First, I want to welcome our new senior vice president and chief financial officer, Bill Pelino, C.P.A., M.B.A. He comes to us from CarePoint Health Network with over three decades of experience in the finance and business administration space. We’re excited to have Bill as part of the team.
I’m also happy to announce that the bariatric surgery programs at Vineland and Mullica Hill have been named Comprehensive Centers of Excellence by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. The Mullica Hill bariatric surgery program started just a few years ago. It ramped up quickly and was eligible to apply for accreditation in November 2021. Vineland first earned this accreditation 15 years ago and has maintained it through triannual reviews.
Earlier this month, we marked a significant milestone on our Woodbury campus with a topping-off (installation of the final steel beam) ceremony for the building that will house the satellite emergency department and an inpatient behavioral health program. Construction is estimated to be completed in early 2024.
On a somber note, it was three years ago this month that our state detected its first case of COVID-19. Thank you for being with us every day as we, together, faced the uncertainties and traumas caused by a virus that demanded so much from you and the entire Inspira family.
In this edition of Provider Inspiration, we’re sharing updates about our aggressive provider recruitment efforts.
As always, thank you for everything you do.
Be well and stay safe,
Amy Mansue
President and CEO
