Hellos and Goodbyes at Inspira
Hello and welcome to the July edition of Provider Inspiration.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all the providers who have participated in the Patient Experience Champion Program. We know that a patient’s overall experience can impact their outcome and be a deciding factor in their choosing or recommending Inspira in the future.
This program came out of a need that was identified to provide Inspira Medical Group providers with more detailed information about the Patient Experience survey. An introductory course was developed and 1-to-1 consults were provided.
In support of our quality, safety and high reliability goals, we welcome Jennifer Bischoff, M.S.N./Ed., R.N. NE-BC, LSSBB, as our new Inspira Health Vice President for Quality and Patient Safety. You can learn more about Jennifer in this edition of Provider Inspiration.
This month, we say farewell to Dr. Steve Linn, who after more than 20 years as CMO, has left Inspira to spend more time teaching mindfulness and elevating the practice of end-of-life care. We are so grateful for all he has given to us. We also hear from Dr. Tony Reed on why providers must make time for themselves. He even gives a shout out to his screaming goats.
