New Year, Bright Future: Celebrating Teamwork
Hello and welcome to the January edition of Provider Inspiration.
We’re kicking off 2023 energized by our achievements and with a sharpened focus on safety, quality and the patient experience. Recently, the Cardiac Critical Care team at Vineland was awarded a Gold Beacon Award for Excellence by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Inspira Elmer was redesignated internationally as a Baby-Friendly hospital, Elmer and Vineland were named Best Hospitals for Maternity Care by Money and the Leapfrog Group, and 28 Inspira providers were honored as 2022 Top Doctors by New Jersey Monthly. Congratulations to all who have been honored with these awards and recognition.
Teamwork is vital to our success, and I thank you for partnering with our care teams to create the best possible experience for our patients and families. Check out this short video to learn about more awards and our top moments in 2022.
In more good news, we recently received word from Moody’s Financial Services that we’ve maintained our A2 bond rating. This designation reflects expectations that Inspira will maintain favorable and consistent financial performance, a solid unrestricted liquidity position and a leading market position in its five-county service area. Maintaining our A2 bond rating is a testament to the incredible teamwork and dedication of our employees and medical staff.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet a number of providers and staff while rounding at Salem Medical Center, which officially became part of Inspira Health last month. We celebrated the coming together with a ribbon cutting on January 20. The New Jersey Commissioner of Health, Judy Persichilli, as well as federal, state and local officials, joined us for the celebration.
In the last days of 2022, our colleagues at CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold had to divert new admissions because of an IT security issue. Please stay vigilant when using email. Do not open emails if you’re unaware of the sender and be on the lookout for spoof emails and texts that claim to come from a member of the Inspira leadership team, especially if it comes from an external address. Never click on links or open attachments from senders you do not know. If you use Inspira email, please report any suspicious messages using the “Report Phish” button at the top right of the Outlook window or report it to Information Systems by calling (856) 575-4700.
This month, we’re learning more about Lydia Stockman and her new role as SVP, chief administrative officer for Inspira Medical Center. We’re also hearing from Dr. Michael DiMarino, our new president of medical staff for Mullica Hill.
Be well and stay safe,
Amy Mansue
