National Recognition and New Neuro Partnership with Cooper
Hello and welcome to the August edition of Provider Inspiration.
This month, we’re celebrating the hard work and dedication of the teams at Inspira Medical Centers Elmer and Vineland, both of which were recently honored as High-Performing Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report—Elmer for heart failure and pneumonia and Vineland for heart failure, diabetes and stroke. Congratulations to all team members who contribute to the high-quality care that we provide to our patients every day.
We recently concluded Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI&B) focus groups moderated by The Exeter Group. These groups provided employees a safe and confidential environment to speak up and share additional feedback following the Cultural Competency Organizational Assessment survey. Thank you to all who attended and participated in the focus groups—we appreciate the time you invested in providing thoughtful responses. As part of our promise to remain transparent, we will share our areas of strength and opportunity in the coming months.
On July 31, we announced a new partnership with our Cooper University Health Care colleagues. This venture, Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience, improves local access to a comprehensive range of advanced neuroscience care, including surgical and nonsurgical services related to the brain, spinal cord and central nervous system. As we build on the proven success of Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care, which is nearing its sixth year of partnership, I’m eager to see what lies ahead for Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience. You can read more about the program in this month’s Provider Inspiration.
In this edition of Provider Inspiration, you’ll also hear from Gregory Herman, M.D., our chief medical informatics officer, about how artificial intelligence (AI) could transform the health care landscape as we know it.
As always, thank you for everything you do.
Be well and stay safe.
