Moving Forward with Teamwork
Hello and welcome to the February issue of Provider Inspiration.
To begin with some good news, we’re finally seeing a significant drop in COVID-19 cases in our area. Our hospitals, urgent care facilities, Inspira Medical Group practices and ambulatory imaging sites have now opened up to a yellow designation, which means visitors are once again permitted, with limitations.
One of the reasons we’ve seen a drop in COVID cases is widespread vaccination rates. As a reminder, per the New Jersey Department of Health, vaccinated health care workers who are eligible must get a booster shot by February 28. Those not yet eligible must get a booster shot within three weeks of eligibility. COVID vaccinations and booster shots are available at both our Mullica Hill and Vineland locations by appointment.
As you’re aware, the Red Cross has recently declared a national blood crisis, putting those who are in need of major surgery at risk. To help alleviate this shortage, we’re running blood drives across the Inspira Network. Visit the following links to sign up through the Red Cross at Inspira Fitness Connection in Vineland or Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill.
This month, we’re recognizing how Inspira has been moving forward by embracing justice, diversity, equity and inclusion in our residency training, raising awareness for eating disorders among patients, celebrating new patient rehabilitation tools and welcoming a new structural cardiologist to the team.
Finally, I want to thank each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication through all the challenges we’ve faced in recent months.
Be well and stay safe,
Amy Mansue
