A Very COVID Christmas: How to Celebrate Safely
Read MoreWhile the coronavirus pandemic may be changing the way Inspira Health delivers medical care, its commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety are unwavering. The unprecedented nature of the challenges we face as a state and nation have led Inspira Health to develop new, and expand existing, ways of delivering health care.
To minimize the possible spread among patients and Inspira employees, Inspira Medical Group primary care and specialty care visits will be conducted via telephone or virtually whenever possible. This change in process is for all types of visits, not just those related to COVID-19. When a virtual appointment is scheduled, a link will be sent that can initiate the online session using a PC, smartphone or tablet.
The process for making an appointment with an Inspira Medical Group physician remains the same. Patients can request an appointment as they normally would: on the Inspira website, through the MyInspira app, call 1-800-INSPIRA, or call their provider’s office. Patients with existing appointments should call the specific office for instructions on how to connect with the doctor.
When things don't go as planned, a doctor is always around the corner at Inspira Urgent Care. Now you can see a doctor from the comfort of your home, or wherever you are, for many types of medical concerns.
Check-in online using our website or the MyInspira app. Select 'ON-SITE' to save time and reserve a spot in line before you arrive or select 'VIRTUAL' to reserve a spot for a virtual visit with your provider.
For anyone who believes they might need testing or treatment for COVID-19, Inspira has activated a virtual assistant who can help you determine what steps you should take, based on your symptoms and possible exposure. Nicknamed Rosie, the chatbot can be accessed on the bottom right of this - and every- page of our website, through the My Inspira app, or the Inspira patient portal. Based on responses to a few simple questions, Rosie will recommend if you should seek medical care. This free service is available around the clock, seven days a week. Rosie’s responses are based on the most recent CDC guidelines.
We put patients first and safety first while focusing on the relationship among patients and caregivers to create the trust patients need to also feel safe. As a high reliability organization, we have maintained a sensitivity to our operations through enhanced situational awareness. Learn More.
