At Inspira, we are always looking for ways to expand and elevate our network to best serve the community. From new service lines and new offerings to new geographies, one of our critical growth opportunities as an organization is through an expanded physician network. As such, Inspira is investing in further developing a clinically strong, fully built-out Medical Staff and Physician Integration Strategy.
Our goal is to grow and deepen Inspira’s medical staff considerably, specifically through primary and specialty care, as well as through an independent and employed corps of physicians. As a bigger and greater medical team, Inspira can better leverage the value of medical staff and physicians across the network and increase their engagement.
A dedicated focus on expanding this strategy will include:
- Establishing primary care as a defining hallmark of Inspira—reassessing its branding, improving its operational and customer-centric attributes, growing patient volume and appointing a senior leader to oversee primary care
- Improving the physician recruitment process and creating a leadership model for retention and professional development
- Implementing a fully integrated and network-wide patient navigation program
