A Very COVID Christmas: How to Celebrate Safely
Read MorePatients and visitors are required to wear an Inspira - issued mask while in any Inspira facility.
Meredith Spena, RN, MSN, CIC, Manager, Infection Prevention and Control, Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill, Inspira Health Center Woodbury and Inspira Ambulatory Services, explains how to properly use a face mask during your appointment or when visiting.
A hospital-grade mask will be provided when you arrive at any Inspira facility. We will ask you to switch from your mask to one of ours.
We ask you to wear one of our masks because we cannot validate the effectiveness of the mask you bring in.
Face masks should cover both mouth and nose and fit snugly on your face. Always keep your mask on unless advised by your Inspira care provider.
Do not pull the mask down under your chin or pull it up onto your forehead – this can expose you to the germs on the outside of the mask.
Please be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth when removing your mask and wash your hands immediately after removing it.
The safety of our patients, our staff and our community-at-large has always been and will continue to be our top priority. Masks are one of many precautions we have taken to ensure it is safe to be treated at Inspira.
People can spread the virus before symptoms develop or be asymptomatic carriers. Since everyone is required to wear a mask, everyone’s germs will be kept within their masks.
Masks should fit snugly against the sides of the face, covering both the mouth and nose. Your mask provided by Inspira will be easy to wear. Secure the mask snugly to your face with the loops that go around the ears. Pinch the mask around your nose to align with the contours of your face.
Cloth face coverings and masks obtained from non-Inspira locations are not permitted.
