Welcoming New Physicians to our South Jersey Community

At Inspira Health, we offer several of residency programs to give physicians the hands-on experience they need to succeed in their careers. Then, after they complete this training, led by our top clinicians, we hope that many of them will choose to stay in our South Jersey community and work for Inspira Health. I’m proud to share that six new physicians who have completed their residencies at Inspira have chosen to stay with us.

Three graduates of the emergency medicine residency joined the team of physicians who care for our patients at the Emergency Department of Inspira Medical Center Vineland. Another physician joined the Inspira Urgent Care group.

Sarah Davis, M.D., joined the Inspira Medical Group Primary Care Mantua as a family medicine physician. Dr. Davis completed her medical school training at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.

Eddie Akrout, D.O., also joined the practice of Inspira Medical Group Primary Care Millville as a family medicine physician. Dr. Akrout completed his medical school training at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency with at Inspira Health, where he also served as chief resident. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, prevention counseling and patient education.

Inspira Health Mullica Hill, opening in just a few short months, will have the most up-to-date maternity service to care for mothers throughout labor and delivery. All labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum rooms are private and equipped with smart-room technology, a jetted tub for laboring as well as sleeping accommodations for a partner and a refrigerator for breast milk storage.

We welcome two new obstetrician/gynecologists who will care for patients at this new hospital: Veronika Kinaschuk, M.D. and Josephine Urbina, M.D. Both doctors joined the Inspira Medical Group Obstetrics and Gynecology practice with offices in West Deptford and Mullica Hill.

Beyond maternity services, we round out our robust women’s health offering by welcoming Woojin Chong, M.D., a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and fellowship-trained urogynecologist. Dr. Chong specializes in pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. She is available to see patients at Inspira Medical Group Obstetrics/Gynecology’s offices in Mullica Hill and Vineland. Dr. Chong’s arrival enhances our comprehensive services for all stages of a woman’s life.
