This position is responsible for: expediting coffee-espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly and courteous manner.

Education & Experience:

  • High school or GED.
  • Up to one month of relative experience or training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
  • Required to use certain mechanical, electrical, sharp, heat-producing, and other potentially dangerous equipment. while performing job responsibilities.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of INSPIRA HEALTH.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written, or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
