MAJOR FUNCTION: The Specialist, Digital Design supports network-wide graphic design across all marketing channels, physical locations, and within paid and organic campaigns. This role reports to the Brand and Digital Design Manager and works closely within the network marketing team. Their primary responsibility is hands-on generating and manipulating images, motion graphics and text, to create aligned omni-channel campaigns especially in the digital space. Experience in animation and video is a plus. This individual is responsible for assisting with the visual look and feel of internal and external digital communications as part of a creative team within Corporate Marketing team. The role will be a supportive part of the design team (internal/external) that is responsible for developing branded graphics for digital, social and all omni-channel creative efforts as directed.
This person excels in brand storytelling and uses their knowledge of current graphic design best practices and technologies to produce commercial art and visual materials for promotions/advertisements such as: motion graphics, packaging, signage, informative and instructional material, flyers, brochures, websites, social media, emails, digital display ads, presentations, and more.
A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of digital design trends, styles, and techniques with a mobile-first approach. They will also be data-minded and have a strong understanding of how analytics can influence design.
This position is remote but will require occasional travel to the office, including at least twice for onboarding.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related subject.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in graphic design and visual content creation.
- Health care experience preferred.
- Recent experience in each area of responsibility is required.
- 2+ years’ experience collaborating in the development of omni-channel marketing content strategy.
- 2+ years’ experience designing for website, mobile apps, email, social media, and other digital channels.
- 1+ years’ experience making data-based design decisions to improve content performance.
- Technology experience required: Adobe Creative Suite, Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, PPT, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Technology experience preferred: Bannersnack or similar digital banner ad creation tool, Drupal or similar CMS (WordPress, Wix), Listrak or similar email marketing tool (MailChimp, Constant Contact), Canva, HIVE or similar project management tool (Basecamp, Asana), Google Analytics, Social Insights

- Must be a proficient writer, particularly for digital media advertisements.
- Must be motivated to continuously improve skills and demonstrate ongoing learning to maintain best practices.
- Must be able to oversee multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
